Broom finish
A stiff broom is pulled across the fresh concrete to leave fine, even ridges. It is the classic finish for driveways and walkways because the texture gives tires and shoes good grip in the rain, and it is simple to keep clean.

Exposed aggregate

Can you replace my cracked driveway?
Yes. We remove the old concrete and pour a new driveway, and we explain the whole process before we start. Read about driveway replacement.
How soon can I use new concrete?
You can usually walk on new concrete after a day or two. Cars should stay off a new driveway for about a week, and concrete keeps gaining strength for about a month. We tell you exactly when your project is ready to use.
When is the best time of year to pour concrete here?
Concrete can be poured most of the year in Bothell. Late spring through early fall is easiest because it is drier, while rain and freezing nights call for extra protection while the concrete cures. We plan your pour around the weather.
